Rules v1.0
The rules of the market, as enforced by the canister. Every change is a dated line in the journal.
- The Board has 100 ranked spots at launch, up to 1,000. Every spot is always for sale at the price its owner set.
- Buying a spot pays the price to its owner (97%, 3% payment processing), plus a 5% buyer fee and the first fee period. The spot is yours the second the payment goes through.
- The owner sets a resale price between $5 and 20 × the price paid, $25,000 at most. A new price applies immediately; an increase starts a new paid period.
- The daily fee is 1% of the displayed price per day, charged every 3 days, at least $1 per charge; the period lengthens until it reaches $1, 30 days at most.
- A failed fee starts the liquidation: the price falls 10% per hour, anyone can buy now, down to a $5 floor. After 72 hours at the floor the house reclaims the spot.
- New spots open at five fixed hours (02:00, 07:00, 12:00, 17:00, 22:00 UTC), one at a time, only when the last five spots are owned and the median price they paid exceeds $25.
- Limits: 5 spots per account or group of linked accounts; 5 purchases per hour; 3 link changes per 24 hours; no purchase between linked accounts.
- The Throne is one line with no refund. Taking it costs at least $1 more than the current price; the previous holder is not paid. It resets every 7 days: the holder enters the Hall of Fame. A take at $25,000 wins the season. One minute between takes.
- The Wall of Fame: $5 for 24 hours, 3 posts per account per 24 hours.
- Links: HTTPS; no adult content, scam, malware, counterfeit, gambling or redirect chains. Checked automatically, reviewed by a human. A frozen link stays in place but is hidden; a second freeze liquidates the spot, loses the Throne without refund, removes the post.
- Gifting: a spot can be bought for an X account; that account can claim it or refuse. The house never mentions anyone.
- Quotes freeze amounts for 180 seconds and exclude nobody; the first confirmation wins, the others are refused without charge.
- Activity points (fame) are awarded by the canister according to public weights. They buy nothing and are not a token.
- Prices are in United States dollars, net of taxes. No refund except for a technical error.
English terms prevail; other languages are for convenience.
